Business Development Coordinator

Location: Geneva, Illinois
Status: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday: Five 8-Hour Shifts
Salary Range (depending on experience): $59,000 - $67,000/year

Summary

The Business Development Coordinator brings a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities. With experience in market analysis, relationship building, and strategic planning, this position drives business expansion and fosters long-term partnerships.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field is required.

Experience:

Five (5) plus years of experience in medical and/or business sales/marketing or related experience is required.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organization, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Execute on strategies regarding business attraction, business retention and business expansion, recognizing performance improvement opportunities and take action to implement and demonstrate self-motivating skills to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Manage internal & external relationships, including serving as a liaison between the organization and referral sources. This includes but is not limited to employers, insurers, and referring physicians.
  • Serve as a point of contact and lead for relationship management activities for referral sources.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the organization at marketing, business development, and educational events.
  • Assist the marketing team with organizational initiatives, as well as company events.
  • Coordinate and attend events to build and maintain key relationships.
  • Communicate strategy and results with all stakeholders (staff, physicians, executives, media, etc.).
  • Track advertising performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with community organizations and referral sources to increase brand awareness.
  • Support planning and execution of events, sponsorships, and community outreach initiatives.

All other duties as assigned.
